Dr. Zaid is a highly trained interventional cardiologist with extensive training in a field called "CHIP", which stands for Complex and High-Risk PCI. This is a specialty in interventional cardiology that involves opening up arteries that are complicated or have been closed for an extended period of time that would otherwise be considered inoperable and a lost cause.
​
He is also trained in as a "CTO Operator" which is an advanced field of cardiology where the cardiologist is specifically trained in opening arteries that have been closed for many years.
​
Dr. Zaid was also the director of ECMO at Henry Ford hospital and has extensive training in management and treatment of advanced cardiogenic shock and hemodynamic support.
